SideDock operates entirely on your local device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, browsing history, cookies, session credentials, or telemetry data. 


- **No Analytics / Telemetry**: We do not use any tracking scripts or analytics libraries.

- **No Third-Party Servers**: SideDock does not operate any backend or proxy servers. All network requests initiated by the browser extension are directed solely to the destination websites you choose to view.

### 2. Permissions & How They Are Used

SideDock requests the following permissions solely to deliver core functionality:

- `declarativeNetRequest`: Used strictly to remove frame embedding restrictions (`X-Frame-Options` and `Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors`) on sub-frames, enabling target web pages and social posts to be rendered inside the side dock interface.

- `storage`: Used solely on your local device to remember your preferred sidebar width and UI preferences.

- `contextMenus`: Used to provide the "Open link in SideDock" option when you right-click hyperlinks.

- `Host Permissions ()`: Required to embed and preview links across websites and social platforms within the user-requested side panel.

### 3. Third-Party Websites & Services

When you view or interact with third-party platforms (such as X, Threads, Reddit, Pinterest, or other websites) inside the SideDock sidebar, your interaction is governed directly by those third parties' respective terms and privacy policies. SideDock does not intercept, modify, or store your communications with those services.

Because SideDock does not collect any personal data whatsoever, it does not collect information from children of any age.
